Healthcare United is actively seeking a B/C or B/E Gastroenterology physician to join multi-specialty group in Boalsburg, Pennsylvania. Collaborates with healthcare team to coordinate patient care and engage patients, families, and caregivers.
HIGHLIGHT:
- Use medical instruments and equipment to examine patients for injuries or disorders.
- Records patient's medical history.
- Orders tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to determine patient's condition.
- Analyzes reports and findings, and diagnoses patient's condition.
- Prescribes treatments and drugs as indicated by diagnosis.
- Advises patients on disease prevention methods and healthy habits.
- Rounds at hospitals and takes emergency calls on rotation.
- Refers patients to other medical specialists as needed.
