The Role:
•Location: Myrtle Grove / Wilmington, NC
•Assignment duration: Locum Gastroenterologist needed to start ASAP and work ongoing
•Coverage: 12 hours.
•Practice Settings: Inpatient.
•Call Type: In-House.
•Preferred Specialty Skills: Upper GI endoscopy, with biopsy, with foreign body removal, with fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser), With injection of varices, ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography), Diagnostic, Therapeutic, With PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy), Esophageal dilatation/manometry, Esophageal manometry interpretation, Small Bowel biopsy, Lower GI endoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy, Flexible, Rigid, Colonoscopy, with biopsy, with excision of polyp, Liver biopsy, Insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube.
•ACLS, BLS.Licensed in NC only.
•EMR: Epic.
•Credentialing: 90 days.
