Orthopedic Surgery - Central New York

1. Hospital employed practice is seeking a BC/BE Orthopedic Surgeon to join their team
2. Guaranteed salary: $600,000+ DOE plus wRVU
3. Join one Orthopedic Surgeon, 2 clinical APPs, and 2 surgical APPs. Current Orthopedic Surgeon practices bread & butter Orthopedics and Joint Replacement (hip & knee)
4. Strong need for providers with training in Upper Extremity and/or Sports
5. Anticipated patient volume: 22-25 daily with support
6. Call:
1. 7 days of ED call per month (5 weekdays and 2 weekend days).
2. Call is also taken for clinic patients during weekend
3. Option to take additional call, if desired - additional compensation provided
7. Schedule:
1. Outpatient - Monday - Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm
2. Inpatient on call - 7 am to 3 pm
8. Clinic sees bread & butter orthopedic cases, joint replacement, sports medicine, and PRP injections; some hand, foot & ankle, and trauma
9. On-site imaging with dedicated x-ray tech
10. OR has upgraded to CORI robot & uses Visionaire as well
11. EMR: Meditech
