Position Highlights- Location: Near Columbia, SC.
- Dates of Coverage:
- January 610, 2025
- February 714, 2025

- May 29, May 59, and May 2330, 2025
- Additional dates through October 2025.
- Shift Schedule: Standard shifts (including on-call) with a mix of day and night hours.
- Case Load: Approximately 10 cases per day.
- Team Support: Collaborate with five physicians, three advanced practice providers, and a dedicated OR team with CRNA support.
- Facility Types: Work across an acute care hospital, outpatient clinic, and a freestanding GI center.
- Required Procedures:
- Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy
- Esophageal dilatation/manometry and interpretation
- Small bowel biopsy
- Lower GI endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy with biopsy/excision of polyps
- Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)
- Preferred Advanced Procedures:
- ERCP
- Liver biopsy
- Foreign body removal and banding of varices
- Licensing: Must hold or be willing to obtain a South Carolina medical license (licensing support available).
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and DEA required.
- Experience: Two years of post-training experience preferred.
- Charting System: Experience with Epic is a plus.
