Under the direction of the primary care operations team, the Primary Care Medical Assistant works directly with Mercy Primary Care Providers to provide safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, patient-centered care in a systematic way. The MA will partner with patients, providers, and other members of the clinical care team to drive quality outcomes for all patients. Schedule: Part-time, 24 hours/week
Qualifications:
Certification not required
Primary Care Assistant - Medical Assistant:
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Certification: Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire .
Preferred Experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office.
Primary Care - Certified Medical Assistant:
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Certification : Must have active Medical Assistant certification/registration (RMA, CCMA, CMA). Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
