The position is for a Statistician in the Office of Human Resources, Law Enforcement Acquisition Division to develop and maintain recruitment and hiring models, design program evaluations and monitoring techniques, implement quality control for data and analyses, and communicate statistical findings to stakeholders. The role requires U.S. citizenship, top-secret Tier 5 clearance, drug and credit checks, and includes a 1-year probationary period; salary starts at GS-13 with promotion potential to GS-14. The selectee will serve as a Statistician in the Office of Human Resources, Law Enforcement Acquisition Division. Typical work assignments include:
- Developing and maintaining applicant recruitment and hiring models for major job categories, occupational series, and targeted segments of the recruitment and hiring pipelines.
- Designing evaluations and program monitoring techniques to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of recruitment and hiring efforts.
- Implementing quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data, statistical analyses, and model outputs.
- Interpreting and communicating complex statistical findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization through written reports, presentations, briefings, and visualizations.
