Seeking an experienced Vascular Surgery Nurse Practitioner for inpatient coverage in Syracuse, NY for a minimum 3-month assignment. Responsibilities include pre-op exams, rounding on adult/geriatric vascular patients, diagnosing and treating illnesses, ordering/interpreting tests, assisting in surgery (including intraoperative first assist), suture and catheter removal, prescription writing, and care coordination. Requires active NY NP license, BLS/ACLS, NPDB self-query, vascular/cardiac surgery experience, RNFA & AANP credentials; full-time only, variable shifts and occasional on-call.
