Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with recent acute care experience and Epic EMR proficiency for an inpatient rehab setting.
Responsibilities
- Position is based in an inpatient/acute care rehab unit
- Variable day shifts, typically 8am to 4:30pm or as late as 9:30am to 6pm, Monday through Friday with some weekend shifts
- Floating required between primary Everett Hospital location and occasionally to Cambridge Hospital; rare coverage at Somerville Hospital for pediatric/adolescent behavioral health beds
- No on-call requirement
- Patient population is primarily adult and geriatric
- Epic EMR experience is required for most units
- Must be flexible with scheduling as block scheduling is not allowed
- Must work every other major holiday
- Flu vaccination required during season
- Scrubs of any color are permitted
- Bi-weekly orientation provided
- RTO requests cannot exceed 5 days and must be included at time of submission
- Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted at a local rate
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
Requirements
- Current PT license in Massachusetts required at the time of consideration; license required if applicable
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care physical therapy experience required
- Recent travel experience required
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- NPI number required
- Ability to independently perform PT evaluations, treatments, and re-evaluations in acute care
- Epic EMR experience required
