A healthcare network in Connecticut is currently seeking a licensedGastroenterologist for a promising position at one of their facilities in New Haven County. In this role, theGastroenterologist will be responsible forproviding high quality inpatient and outpatient care to patients.

Responsibilities:

TheGastroenterologist will be responsible for:

• Examining & obtaining medical history and treating acute &chronic illnesses
• Ordering, performing,and interpreting diagnostic tests
• Creatingtreatment plansand involvingpatients &family members in those plans
• Initiatingappropriate specialty referrals
• Collaboratingon the improvement in care delivery and service with management, other Physicians and staff
• Working with Practice Management to ensure compliance with billing and coding requirements
• Performing procedures at theEndoscopy Center

Qualifications:

• Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of Connecticut
• Board Eligible / Certified inGastroenterology
