Opportunity Overview:

Seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician (ABEM/AOBEM) to provide locum coverage at our Level III Trauma Center. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a busy, well-equipped emergency department with low transfer rates ( and strong APP support.

Key Details:

• Emergency Department Volume: 33,000 annual visits ( 77 patients/day)
• Coverage:
• 1-2 Physicians during the day
• 1 Physician at night
• 1-2 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) per shift (Supervision expected)
• Peak Hours: 11 AM 11 PM
• EMR:Cerner PowerChart (transitioning to EPIC in June)
• Teaching Hospital: Teaching opportunities available
• Hospital Size: 250 beds

Requirements:

• Board Certification: ABEM/AOBEM (Required)
• Licensure:Active IA License or IMLC (Required)
• Certifications:
• ACLS & PALS (Waived if ER Boarded)
• ATLS (Required for trauma privileges)
• Availability: Must be available for night shifts
