Job Title: Locum Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine
Join a dedicated team of healthcare professionals serving our nation's Veterans in Houston, Michigan. You will have the opportunity to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments as part of a impactful practice focusing on general medicine.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-time non-treatment C&P exams and separation health assessments.
- Perform primarily interview-based evaluations with some physical assessments.
- Utilize range of motion and muscle strength testing as necessary.
- Submit thorough reports, including any required addendums, in a timely manner.
- Potential to work half-days (4 hours) or full-days (8 hours) based on availability.
- Ensure all administrative responsibilities are completed during the designated work hours.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in METs testing and evaluating respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
- Ownership of a laptop (Windows based, no Mac/Apple products).
- Active AANP certification.
- Possession of an active and unrestricted Michigan nurse practitioner license.
- Willingness to complete DMA training for certification.
- Ability to travel to multiple locations as needed.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Michigan.
- AANP certification.
- Completion of the DMA training is mandatory.
