Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position with postpartum care in a hospital setting, requiring BLS, ACLS, NRP, and at least 2 years of L&D experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum, and Nursery (LDRPN) unit
- Duties include both labor and delivery and postpartum care as needed
- Night shift schedule from 18:00 to 06:30
- 13-week assignment
- Candidates must have a valid US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
- Local candidates are accepted but may receive a reduced rate according to the facility's radius rule, which varies by state
- COVID-19 vaccination is not required for this assignment
- Documentation required includes two references, a copy of driver’s license, certification copies, and license verification
- All positions are auto-offer positions
Requirements
- Active RN license with current Nursys verification
- Minimum of 2 years recent Labor and Delivery experience required
- BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association
- NRP certification (AHA/AAP Neonatal Resuscitation Program) required
- Fetal monitoring certification required (AWHONN, Relias, or similar if not covered in competency exam within the past 2 years)
- MOAB De-Escalation Training preferred
