Permanent Job Opportunity Near Burlison, TN Position: Physician (MD) / Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)Specialty: AnesthesiologyType: Full-Time (FT) Contract Start Date: October 1, 2024Coverage Start Date: October 1, 2024, ongoing Daily Model: 1 MD every week, Monday Friday, ongoing 2 CRNAs every week, Monday - Friday, ongoing Call divided evenly among providers Daily Sites: 3 anesthesia sites per day including OB Call coverage from 5:00 pm 7:00 am on weeknights First out post call Weekend call required and open to all providers Weekly Call Rotation: Call starts at 5 pm at least once a week, sometimes twice Flexibility in providers is essential Weekend Call Rotation: All weekends open for the start-up phase Case Types: Approximately 2800 cases per year Mostly general, ortho, OB ( 275 deliveries/year), gyn, ophthalmology, podiatry EMR: EPIC Certifications Required: ACLS (must be through AHA) PALS BLS Skills Required: Epidural and regional blocks Model: This is not a supervision model. CRNAs and MDs have the same autonomy. CRNAs work independently. MDs handle the podiatry cases.
