Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU position requiring CVICU experience and a current KY or compact RN license.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Cardiovascular ICU of a hospital setting
- Patient ratio is 1:2
- Care for cardiovascular patients including fresh heart cases
- Shifts are 19:30-07:30 on a 36/48 hour weekly rotation
- Utilizes Meditech EMR
- Orientation is provided bi-weekly
- First time travelers not specified; travel pairs are not allowed
- Copy of driver's license required
- No local candidates will be considered
- Holiday and weekend shifts may be required
Requirements
- Active KY or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years recent CVICU experience
- Current certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale
- Must have experience caring for fresh post-op heart patients
- Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
