Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Maintain 1:4 patient ratios on all shifts
• Every other weekend requirement
• No on-call responsibilities
• Float within scope to meet facility needs and between like units/sister facilities
• 1 year of experience required, 2 years preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
• SC license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• Required certifications: BLS and NIHSS
• Preferred certifications: ACLS and CPI
• Epic experience required
• Telemetry competency and Cardiac Telemetry experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Royal blue scrubs required
• 12-hour orientation provided
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with average daily census of 15
• Work with interdisciplinary team including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, and Pharmacy
• Skills include cardiac telemetry, ventilated patient care, central line management, chest tubes, IV insulin protocols, cardiac and vasoactive drip management, and wound care

Facility:

This acute care hospital operates 286 staffed beds and provides comprehensive medical services to the community. The facility utilizes Epic charting system and offers free parking for staff. The hospital maintains a stepdown ICU unit that serves as an intermediate care level between intensive care and general medical floors, providing specialized monitoring and care for patients who require closer observation than typical medical units but don't need full intensive care services.
