Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring active MD or Compact RN licensure and at least 2 years of L&D experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a busy Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting
- Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Must work every other weekend
- Thirteen-week contract assignment
- Responsibilities include providing nursing care throughout the labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum period
- Must follow American Traveler and hospital protocols for patient care
- Must provide license verification dated within 30 days of start
- COVID vaccination card required for consideration
- Holiday and weekend coverage expectations apply
Requirements
- Active MD or Compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Current NRP certification required
- AWHONN Fetal Heart Monitoring certification required
