Job Description
As a Security Officer - Unarmed Clearance Defense Patrol in MOORESTOWN, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with personnel and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
- Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related concerns or maintenance needs within the location.
- Communicate clearly with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment.
- Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials and monitoring entry points as required by site policies.
Minimum Requirements:
- An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
