Performs computer functions, processes patient specimens, maintains department inventory, operates and maintains equipment, and performs record-keeping tasks and QI functions. Performs routine histological procedures. Adheres to patient identification, Lab safety, and other Mercy Lab and department policies and procedures. Develops standard operating procedures in department. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.Position Details:
Education: Bachelor's degree
Certification: HTL(ASCP)
Preferred Experience: Computer experience
Preferred Other Skills and Knowledge: Medical terminology
