- Beds: 14 beds
- Provider Coverage: Physicians work 7a-7p and 7p-7a
- NPPAs work 2p-10p on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
- EMR: Cerner
- Requirements: ABEM/ABOEM or ABFM with emergency medicine experience
- Certifications Required (if not ABEM or ABOEM) ATLS, BLS, PALS, ACLS, and NRP (all need to be through AHA)
- Subspecialties Available: Lab services and imaging (CT and x-ray)
- Malpractice: Claims Based/Unlimited Tail
Facility InformationPart of South Texas Health System, South Texas Health System ER Ware Road is a free standing ED facility. This facility offers 24-hour emergency care, 365 days a year. South Texas Health System ER Ware Road is staffed with the same medical personnel and equipped with the same diagnostic technology available in South Texas Health System's hospital-based emergency rooms.
