Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Full-Time - Skowhegan, ME We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our dynamic anesthesia team. This role involves providing anesthesia care for a variety of medical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the pre-operative, operative, and post-operative phases . Position Details: Status: Full-time, MondayFriday Schedule: No call required Responsibilities: Administer and manage anesthesia for a wide range of surgical and medical procedures . Conduct pre-operative patient assessments , including reviewing medical histories and developing anesthesia plans. Monitor vital signs, anesthesia levels, and overall patient well-being during surgery. Respond to adverse reactions or anesthesia-related emergencies as needed. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. Provide post-anesthesia care and assess patient recovery . Educate patients and families about anesthesia procedures and risks. Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with hospital policies (Meditech EMR documentation required). Work in three operating rooms, an endoscopy suite, and an obstetrics unit , covering specialties such as: General surgery Orthopedics Podiatry OB/GYN Pediatrics (ages 2 and older) Must be proficient in endoscopies and labor epidurals . Qualifications: Certified CRNA by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) . Licensed to practice as a CRNA in Maine . Masters degree in Nurse Anesthesia or an equivalent program. Strong knowledge of anesthesia equipment, techniques, and safety protocols . Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills . Ability to perform well in high-pressure and emergency situations .
