A board-certified pediatric cardiology physician is needed to provide 24-hour call coverage for a pediatric cardiac catheterization lab and PICU in a hospital setting. The role involves managing emergency procedures, supporting the pediatric cardiac OR and PCICU without routine procedural duties, and requires a Maryland medical license or IMLC MD. The physician will collaborate with dedicated support staff including PAs and RNs to ensure quality care in a specialized pediatric cardiology environment.
Position DescriptionWork Dates Needed: ASAP- Nov- Dec
Schedule: 24 hour call
Worksite Setting: Hospital- Cath Lab, 12 PICICU, 5 Step down
Scope of Work: Pediatric Cardiac OR/PCICU-, emergency OR procedures, chest tube removal
Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: Maryland license, will accept IMLC MD, board-certified in pediatric cardiology
EMR: Epic
Practice Setting: Cath lab
Support Staff Available: dedicated PA & RN, cath lab RNs and CVRTs
Certifications Required: MD, board-certified in pediatric cardiology
Additional Comments: Looking for call coverage support for our peds cardiac cath service. We are not expecting procedural support, though it could be possible in the event of an emergency. Posted Date: 2025-12-04
