As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, responding to situations as they arise, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service while carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding appropriately to emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas in accordance with site protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel as directed during critical incidents.
• Document all incidents, observations, and activities accurately and promptly as required by Allied Universal and site guidelines.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions at government locations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess a college degree.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a corrections officer license.
• Possess one of the following: DD214 with honorable discharge, an associates degree or 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
• Possess a law enforcement officer license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
