Position SummaryAs a Med-Surg RN on night shift in Herrin, IL, you will provide patient-centered care in a collaborative setting, using clinical judgment and compassionate communication to support optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities- Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Monitor patient condition and respond to changes
- Educate patients and their support systems on care plans
- Ensure accurate and complete medical documentation
- Maintain Core Measure compliance
- Contribute to a healthy, professional workplace culture
- Participate in continuing education and performance improvement initiatives
Qualifications- Active Illinois RN license (unencumbered)
- BLS/CPR certification (required)
- 1+ year of recent Med-Surg experience preferred
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to manage priorities in a dynamic clinical environment
