Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Med/Surg position requiring an active MA RN license and recent flu and COVID vaccination.
Responsibilities
- Work in an acute medical/surgical unit within a hospital setting
- Schedule is 36 hours per week with day/night rotation
- Uses Epic for charting
- No pets or guests permitted in shared housing; own transportation is required
- Holiday coverage may be required as part of the schedule
- No religious or medical exemptions are permitted for flu or COVID-19 vaccination requirements
- Parking may have associated costs and availability varies by location
- Shared housing is provided; no pets or guests allowed
- Candidate must bring their own transportation
- Timekeeping is managed with UKG/Kronos system
- RTO must be communicated at the time of consideration
- First time travelers are eligible for consideration
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required at the time of consideration; conditional licenses are not accepted
- BLS certification from AHA is required
- Proof of flu vaccination is required
- Completed COVID-19 vaccination series approved by the FDA or WHO is required
- Two professional references must be provided
- Experience with Epic charting is preferred
