TRAVEL RN – PCU Assignment Length: 13 Weeks Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital setting License: Active Compact RN License required at submission Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Unit Information Unit: PCU Facility: Parkland Medical Center Address: 1 Parkland Drive, Derry, NH Floor: 2nd Unit Details Number of Beds: 20 Staffing: Day Shift: 5 RNs Night Shift: 5 RNs Additional flex staff based on volume (includes 2 LNAs) Patient Ratio: 4:1 Equipment: GE cardiac monitoring, Hospira IV pumps EMR: Expanse Typical Hiring Profile Must-Have Skills (Required) Candidates without these skills will not be considered: Strong dysrhythmia recognition skills Critical drip experience Minimum 2 years PCU experience Preferred Skills (Highly Considered) Pre-/Post-cardiac cath care Pacer patient care experience Prior HCA experience Typical Unit Procedures: N/A Ideal Personality Fit Self-directed and confident Positive attitude during challenging situations Strong communication skills Team-oriented Required Certifications ACLS BLS NIHSS (corrected from “NIAH”) Floating Requirements May float to: Med Surg ICU (border patients) Emergency Department (ED holds) Dress Code Professional scrubs; no required color Unit Policies/Guidelines Reviewed during interview and orientation Weekends / On-Call Every other weekend, or equivalent depending on staffing needs No on-call listed unless specified during interview
