Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a skilled RN for a Labor and Delivery night shift position requiring a TX or compact license and multiple certifications including BLS, ACLS, NRP, and NIHSS.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital setting
- Patient care across triage, antepartum, labor, circulate, and transition areas (no post-partum)
- Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
- Assignment length is 16 weeks, with consideration for a minimum of 13 weeks
- Responsibilities include rotating through all assigned areas except post-partum
- Must be prepared to handle high-acuity obstetric patients
- Unit does not include postpartum care as part of the assignment
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Labor and Delivery experience required
