New Hampshire - Neurology
Looking for two General Neurologists to join healthcare team in Northern New Hampshire. These are full-time outpatient roles (4 to 4.5 days per week), ideal for a physician who values community-focused care in a rural setting. You will work alongside a dedicated team to provide comprehensive care to patients with a range of neurological conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and manage conditions that may include:
- Migraine
- Memory loss
- Essential tremor
- Parkinson s disease
- Cognitive impairment
- Dizziness
- Epilepsy
- Multiple sclerosis
- Polyneuropathy
- Headache
- Provide outpatient care for adolescents (16+) and adults, new and established.
- Collaborate with/refer to other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care (e.g., cardiology, orthopedics, pain management, pulmonology, sleep medicine, and therapy services).
- Medication management
- Education and counseling of patients and families
- Ordering diagnostic tests available on-site!
- Interpret EEG studies, highly preferred.
- Perform and interpret NCS/EMG studies, highly preferred.
- Botox injections highly preferred.
Best fit:
- Experience in general neurology 2-5 years preferred, but recent graduates with strong skills are welcome to apply
- Comfortable working in a rural, CAH setting.
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
