Required Skills:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in Australia
- Strong background in general medicine or related specialties such as family medicine, internal medicine, or orthopedic surgery
- Experience performing Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments
- Proficiency in interview-based assessments with physical evaluation skills (e.g., range of motion, muscle strength testing)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary for veteran interactions
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience working with veteran populations or government healthcare programs
- Certification or experience in Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams
- Familiarity with medical documentation and report submission processes
- Ability to adapt to varied locations and schedule flexibility
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master s degree or higher in Nursing Practice
- Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in general or internal medicine
- Prior experience in assessment or examination roles, particularly in veteran or government healthcare settings
Other Requirements:
- Must be a local candidate, as travel is included in the compensation package
- Availability to start on 31/12/2025, working PRN (as needed) days and PRN shifts
- Willingness to perform both half-day (4 hours) and full-day (8 hours) assessments
- No additional certifications or portal training reimbursement provided before starting
- Ability to complete administrative follow-up work related to exams and reports within designated rates
