Responsible for providing ultrasound imaging of the patient's heart to assist physicians with the diagnosis of the patient. Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure patient safety and compliance.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Completion of an Accredited Ultrasound Program and/or ARDMS or CCI registered.
- Basic computer skills.
- Two (2) - Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in a lab performing pediatric echocardiography imaging.
- ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCCS or RCS) or equivalent registered or eligible.
- Full State of New Mexico licensure required within one year of hire.
- Must maintain licensure and national certification/registry.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
- Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree.
