Job Responsibilities:
• Experience: Must have been employed in the practice of Nephrology or in an accredited training program for 24 of the last 36 month. Must have experience working in inpatient and outpatient in Nephology to include management of patients undergoing chronic dialysis.
• Degree/Education: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.). Graduate from an accredited medical school in the United States or Canada.
• Awarded degree of Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) with completion of ABIM recognized internal medicine residency acceptable to the Defense Health Agency, as verified by submission of certificate to MOMMC Credentials Office.
• Completion of an additional fellowship program in nephrology, which is acceptable to the Defense Health Agency.
• Certifications in addition to Basic Life Support: BLS is required. The HCW shall hold and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) (Course C), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). BLS/ACLS certifications must be through the American Heart Association or a Red Cross-approved training program
• Board Certification: Current board certification or board eligible in Nephrology by the American Board of Internal Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine.
• Licensure/Registration: The providers shall have and maintain a valid unrestricted license in the state of Nevada.
