Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Permanent Position in Gastonia, NC

This position is for an experienced full-time Neonatal Nurse Practitioner at a leading 16-bed Level-III NICU practice at a state-of-the-art medical center. Job Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical care in a 16-suite Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
- Assist with coverage in the newborn nursery.
- Deliver 20 hours per day of shift coverage in collaboration with in-house Neonatologists.
- Participate in daily team meetings and care coordination.
- Contribute to a well-established team of 2 Neonatologists and 5-6 NNPs.
- Help manage approximately 320 admissions and 1,900 births annually with an average daily census of 10.
- Work closely with healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree and/or Doctorate in Nursing.
- Board Certified NNP with a minimum of 2+ years of employment experience as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (excluding RN experience).
- Exceptional clinical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active North Carolina APRN license (or willing to obtain).
- DEA certification (must be obtained prior to start).
- Copy of most recent NPDB Report (within 30 to 60 days active).
