Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a variable shift position requiring experience in both CT and X-ray, as well as the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Position is in a CT Scan unit
- Patient population includes those requiring both X-ray and CT procedures
- Must be able to start IVs
- Collaboration with other departments is required
- 13-week assignment duration
- Must be able to work collaboratively as well as independently
- No difference in rate for local candidates
- Work requires flexibility to cross-train and cover multiple modalities when needed
- Scrub color requirements and holiday coverage details not specified
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in CT and X-ray
- Current BLS certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross
- CT certification required
- California state licensure required if applicable
- Experience starting IVs and working independently
- Workplace Violence Prevention training (DCI/BVP) can be completed pre-assignment
