KeyResponsibilities:
- Providecomprehensive medical care to pediatric patients, from infancy throughadolescence.
- Performphysical exams, diagnostic testing, vaccinations, and develop appropriatetreatment plans.
- Counselpatients and families on wellness, development, and preventive healthcare.
- Workcollaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals toprovide continuity of care.
- Maintaindetailed and accurate medical records using electronic health systems.
- Staycurrent on advancements in pediatric healthcare and participate in ongoingprofessional development.
Requirements:
- Graduateof an accredited medical school program.
- Completionof an accredited U.S. Pediatric Residency Program.
- BoardCertified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
- ValidArizona medical license and DEA certificate.
- CurrentBasic Life Support certification.
- Demonstratedunderstanding of pediatric clinical methods and techniques.
- Stronginterpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with patients,families, and staff.
- Basiccomputer proficiency for using electronic medical records.
- ValidArizona driver's license.
- Certificationin Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Automated External Defibrillator use, perAmerican Heart Association and Red Cross standards.
- ValidLevel One Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by the Arizona Department of PublicSafety.
- PreferredQualifications: Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus but not required.
