Are you a skilled General Medicine provider seeking a flexible opportunity to perform Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams + Separation Health Assessments? We are seeking General Medicine Providers for locum coverage across the country, with positions available near MOUNT VERNON WA.
Opportunity Details:- Availability: Need is on a PRN basis, offering flexibility to accommodate diverse schedules.
- Specialties Accepted: We welcome family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or anyone with a background in general medicine or experience with compensation and pension exams.
- Coverage Options: Choose between traveling to perform exams or scheduling appointments within your own practice, providing autonomy and flexibility.
- Shift Options: Option to work days (4-hours) and/or full days (8-hours).
- Exam Details: Conduct one-time non-treatment C&P exams + separation health assessments, primarily interview-based with some physical assessment including range of motion testing and muscle strength testing. No prescribing or treatment involved.
- Quick Credentialing: Expedited credentialing and onboarding process.
- DMA Certification: Certification available with the opportunity to earn CME credits. Obtain certification if not already certified upon privilege.
- Equipment: Own personal laptop (NO MACs) required. Training provided for all Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs).
- Reporting: Submit completed DBQs within 48 hours upon exam completion, emphasizing accuracy and completion of standardized form(s) only.
- Evaluation Process: Utilize the provider portal for streamlined evaluation processes.
- Record Review: Active participation in record reviews required, ensuring comprehensive assessment and documentation.
- Follow-Up Administrative Work: Regular follow-up administrative tasks including addendums, medical opinions, and reading diagnostics.
