Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift position requiring at least 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience and multiple certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit of an acute care hospital
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
• Floating required within scope to sister facilities as needed
• Patient care includes managing pacemakers, IV insulin protocols, and Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI)
• Uses Epic EMR for charting
• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced telemetry environment
• No blocked scheduling requests will be accommodated
• Time off requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days with no holidays or blackout dates allowed
• No local candidates accepted; residency must be beyond a 75-mile radius from the facility
• Must be willing to float to all Integris facilities within a 75-mile radius as needed
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Certified and credentialed documentation required prior to consideration

Requirements

• Active OK or compact RN license required prior to consideration
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and completion of EKG course or Telemetry test required by start date
• Experience with pacemakers, IV insulin protocols, and CBI required
• Must provide a valid driver’s license or state-issued ID and a utility bill with matching address dated within the last three months showing an address more than 75 miles from the facility
• Two professional references required
• No pending state licenses accepted
• Prior permanent staff must be separated from Integris for at least one year to be eligible
