Job Title: Locum Physician - Gastroenterology
Summary: Join a leading healthcare facility located in Lakewood, Colorado, as part of a dynamic Gastroenterology team. The facility is looking for urgent coverage in December. Candidates must be proficient in ERCP and EUS to be considered for this role.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient gastroenterology services, including scoping, ERCP, EUS, endoscopy, and evaluation of gastrointestinal problems.
- Participate in a 24-hour call schedule from 7 AM to 7 AM, covering 5-7 days per month.
- Ensure thorough documentation and patient management within EPIC EMR.
- Analyze and diagnose various GI conditions and determine appropriate treatments.
- Communicate effectively with both patients and staff to ensure optimal patient care.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Gastroenterologist.
- Completed a Gastroenterology Fellowship.
- Proven experience with ERCP and EUS procedures.
- Ability to commit to ongoing shifts as outlined.
- Clean malpractice background with a self-inquiry NPDB report.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active Colorado Medical License or IMLC.
- Active DEA registration required for credentialing.
