American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient setting requiring a minimum of 1 year outpatient/inpatient PT experience and an active state license.
Responsibilities- Primary setting is outpatient physical therapy, comprising 80-90% of the caseload
- Inpatient and swing bed coverage is expected for 10-20% of the caseload
- Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with no weekend shifts
- Daily caseload averages 10-13 patients
- Uses Epic EMR; prior experience is preferred
- Contract duration is through 3/31/26
- Traveler may need to be flexible with assigned territory
- Business casual dress code is required

- Responsibilities include planning and implementing individualized treatment programs in accordance with physical therapy principles and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team
- Emphasis on team work, strong communication, patient-centered care, punctuality, and a can-do attitude
- Self-starter qualities, outgoing personality, and excellent customer service are valued in candidates
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Accepted RTO must be provided at time of offer; no additional RTO will be considered post-offer
- Declinations for COVID and flu vaccines are permitted
- All required compliance documents must be completed before patient care begins
- Locals are accepted at the travel rate
- Current Physical Therapist license in the applicable state is required for consideration; pending license may be accepted (license required if applicable)
- Minimum of 1 year of recent outpatient or inpatient physical therapy experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy and graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current BLS certification required
- Familiarity with Epic EMR preferred
