Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for night shifts with strong skills in conscious sedation, telemetry, and ventilator management in WV.
Responsibilities
- Work in the ICU at a hospital setting
- Night shifts, 3x12 hours (7:00pm-7:30am)
- Every other weekend required
- Float to other units as needed
- Patient population averaging 0.2 patients per day
- Uses CPSI EMR system
- Responsible for providing intensive care nursing, including advanced monitoring and treatments
- Wine and/or burgundy scrubs required; scrubs not provided
- First time travelers are welcome to apply
- No prior permanent employment at the facility is specified as a restriction
Requirements
- Active WV or Compact RN license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of ICU RN experience required
- Certifications required: BCLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale
- Conscious sedation, telemetry, and ventilator management skills required
- CCRN certification preferred
- Travel experience not required
