This full-time role involves three days of patient care and two days of administrative duties overseeing multiple service lines and quality improvement initiatives. The position requires board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or OB/GYN and familiarity with FQHC operations and regulatory requirements.

Your Role with the Company:
- Location: Orangeburg, South Carolina (1hr from Columbia or Charleston)
- Medical Director - Candidate should be trained in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or OB/GYN
- Full-time position
- We are looking for a hands-on, dedicated Medical Director who can balance clinical excellence with strategic leadership.
- This unique position offers three days of patient care and two days of administrative leadership allowing you to make a direct impact both at the bedside and in organizational decision-making.
- 100% Outpatient Clinic Setting
- Typical Clinic day Volume: 22 patients per day - NP Assistance with Patient Volume
- Shared call between several providers - Calls initially go to a call center
- Provide high-quality patient care (3 days/week) in your specialty.
- Lead and supervise assigned service lines: primary care, nursing, laboratory, women s health, podiatry, and specialty services.
- Partner with the CMO to implement strategic initiatives, improve clinical workflows, and expand services.
- Oversee quality improvement projects to meet/exceed UDS and HEDIS targets.
- Serve as acting CMO when designate
Background Profile:
- Board Certified / Board Eligible Family Medicine Physician, Internal Medicine Physician, OB/GYN
- Medical Director covers both clinical and admin duties
- Ability to have a South Carolina Medical License
- Strong understanding of FQHC operations and HRSA requirements.
