A Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) provides anesthesia care across a variety of surgical specialties including general, orthopedic, cardiac, and obstetrics. This role involves shift work and on-call duties alongside anesthesiologists to ensure patient safety during approximately 15,000 annual surgeries and additional deliveries and cardiac cases. The position includes competitive pay, malpractice coverage, paid travel, and accommodations while supporting comprehensive anesthesia services in Central Massachusetts.
SMART is actively recruiting for a CRNA to provide coverage for a client of ours in Central Massachusetts!
Qualifications:
- Active MA license preferred but will consider those needing licensure.
Job Summary:
- Shift times: 7:00AM-3:00PM, 7:00AM-5:00PM , 7:00AM-7:00PM, 7:00AM-11:00PM
- Call Details (if applicable): 7PM-7AM during the week (30% call back) and 7AM-7AM on the weekends (80% call back).
CRNAs take weekday call approximately once a month and twice a year on weekends - Coverage Model: There is always 1 MD and 2 CRNAs in-house 24 hours a day
- Case types (if applicable): general, ortho, urology, ENT/ophthalmology, bariatric, vascular, neuro, thoracic, GYN, dermatology, plastic, cardiac and OB. No trauma
- Patient Volume: 15,000 OR cases annually. In addition, approximately 2000 deliveries and 300 cardiac case
