Job Description
A North Sacramento based clinic is searching for a Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about improving individual and community health. An ideal candidate should practice excellent, evidence-based patient care, and should be comfortable treating all ages.
Required Qualifications
- Current California Nurse Practitioner license
- Nurse Practitioner Certification from either the ANCC or AANP
- Current DEA licensure
- Active CPR Certification
- 1-2 years of NP experience
- Spanish (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose a variety of diseases and injuries in patients of all ages
- Order diagnostic tests and laboratory studies, interpret results and create treatment plans based on results
- Complete annual wellness exams in office and occasional home visits
- Perform therapeutic procedures with prioritizing preventative care
- Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services for patients on caseload
- Document all patient encounters efficiently and according to organization policy
