Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift PCU position requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least one year of recent PCU experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within a hospital specializing in heart and spine care
- Night shift position with hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Thirteen-week contract assignment
- Provide specialized care for progressive care patients in a heart and spine-focused unit
- Candidates with prior permanent employment at the facility are not eligible
- Testing or vaccination requirements may apply per facility policy
Requirements
- Active RN license in TX or compact state required
- Minimum 1 year of recent PCU or specialty-specific nursing experience required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or ARC required
- No uninterrupted work gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
