Registered Nurse - Step-Down Unit

Schedule

Shifts are from 19:00 to 07:00. Every other weekend and holiday availability is required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Step-Down Unit specializing in cardiac care. This unit functions with a 4:1 patient ratio and is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, fostering an environment of teamwork and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a step-down setting.
• Administer cardiac drips and manage complex patient needs, including BIPAP/CPAP.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Conduct bedside shift reports and participate in mandatory shift huddles.
• Ensure compliance with all unit guidelines and policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ACLS certification is required.
• Experience in Step-Down units with cardiac drips is necessary.
• Experience managing patients with BIPAP/CPAP and chest tubes is essential.
• Advanced skills in sepsis management are preferred.
