Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU (PICU) day shift position requiring a MO or compact RN license and at least 1 year of recent specialty experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a Pediatric ICU setting with occasional coverage in Pediatrics and Sitter units
- Day shift schedule from 07:00 to 19:00
- 13-week contract assignment
- Pediatric patient population
- Blocked scheduling may be allowed based on facility needs
- Up to 5 days of requested time off is allowed if made up during the assignment
- Local candidates within 50 miles may be eligible with adjusted contract limits and pay rules
- Subcontractor staff within 50 miles are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts before a 1-year separation is required or reassignment outside the radius
- No previous permanent employment at the facility required
- Full employment files must be complete prior to assignment start
- Responsibilities include providing critical care nursing to pediatric patients in intensive and acute care settings
Requirements
- Active MO or compact RN license required at time of consideration
- Current certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment unless renewal is scheduled
- Minimum 1 year of recent PICU experience required
- Valid U.S. Social Security Number is required; Canadian SINs are not accepted
- No employment gaps of 90 or more days in the past 12 months
