Shift: 9:00 PM-5:30 AM
Hourly Rate: $33.06 an hour + $.40 shift differential
At our Quincy, MI facility, we proudly produce Hebrew National Hot Dogs, known for their premium quality and kosher standards. We’re looking for a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to help keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform preventative maintenance across a wide range of industrial machinery and production equipment.
- Handle repairs and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Work with systems including:
- Pumps
- Motors
- Gearboxes
- Conveyors
- Chillers
- Pneumatics
- Hydraulics
- Other industrial production equipment
- Operate within multiple disciplines of maintenance, adapting to the needs of the facility.
- Respond to sound alerts from equipment and communicate effectively via radio.
- Walk short distances throughout the plant to perform tasks and inspections.
- Maintain excellent attendance, work the required shift, and be available for overtime as needed.
Qualifications:
1+ years' experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical and electrical drive/ control systems relating to production and facilities equipment maintenance.
Experience with preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
Mechanical skills used to trouble-shoot equipment is required.
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
2 years of basic computer
High School Diploma or Equivalent and Must have at least 1 year of current work history in the past 4 months with no break.
Ability to lift 50-80 pounds.
Wear all required PPE.
