Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Emergency Department RN with charge or managerial experience to join our team for night shifts. The role involves working with a diverse patient population, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients, in a busy Emergency Department.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department
- Manage and supervise nursing staff within the unit
- Assist in triaging patients according to prescribed protocols
- Coordinate patient care and communicate effectively with other medical staff
- Utilize specialty equipment such as Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
- 2+ years of experience in the Emergency Department, with some pediatric experience
- Travel experience in healthcare settings is mandatory
- Current AHA certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC (TNCC required to be in hand)
- Active NY Nursing License and all RN licenses verified through NURSYS report
- Valid driver's license with an address matching demographics
- EMR experience required: EPIC
- 2 recent references from ED Charge or Manager RNs
