Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN with Charge Nurse background for a night shift Emergency Department position in California requiring an active CA RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department as a Charge RN
• Night shift from 7:00pm to 7:30am
• 13-week contract position
• 36 hours per week scheduled
• Responsible for providing leadership on night shifts in the Emergency Department
• Work independently and support the ED nursing team during night operations
• No COVID-19 vaccination requirement listed
• Housing resources are available for travelers, including options in Arcata, McKinleyville, Eureka, Blue Lake, Westhaven, and Samoa
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Requirements

• Active California RN license required
• Minimum 4 years of RN experience
• Previous Charge Nurse experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Proof of negative TB screen within 12 months prior to contract start
