We are looking to add an Advanced Practice Provider to join our Primary Care Team! The Float Advanced Practitioner plays a key role in providing the highest quality of patient care while the patient is at one of our many primary care locations. This provider will be assigned to our primary care offices to help cover provider PTO or leave time. Our providers deliver exceptional patient care with a focus on overall well-being of our patients.
Nurse Practitioner/PA job details:
Essential Job Duties:
- Completes the routine physical assessment using common assessment skills in a systematic manner.
- Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and health care needs.
- Records physical findings, formulates plan and prognosis, based on patient's condition.
- Performs physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of physician.
- Respects patients' rights, including the right to inform, privacy, confidentiality, and the right to refuse care.
- Assists with patient education to promote self-care and patient independence.
- Follows company policies and procedures and department protocols.
Schedule:
- Full time (M- F), 40 hours per week (8am 5pm)
Primary role is:
- Will float to different primary care clinics to provide coverage as needed
- This position will not hold its own patient panel
- Travel to different offices is required
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited MSN or PA program
- Must have Indiana RN license.
- Must have active APRN or PA/CSR license or be eligible for licenses.
- Must have BLS certification
- AANP, ANCC or PA certification
- Ability to travel independently
- Valid driver's license
