Required Skills:
- Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology
- Valid Virginia Medical License and DEA certification
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience
- Proficiency in EMR systems, specifically Epic/Beacon
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with outpatient oncology clinics
- Knowledge of solid tumor and malignant hematology management
- Familiarity with extensive patient volume and diverse case types
- Additional certifications in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) or specialized procedures
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Prior experience in a high-volume oncology/hematology outpatient setting
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
Other Requirements:
- Virginia licensure and DEA registration
- Willingness to work Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Ability to support clinic operations over a three-month contract
- No travel required; all billable expenses related to licensure, certification, and travel reimbursements (if applicable)
