Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner (PRN)

We are seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners (NPs) to provide urgent care services at our busy clinic near Tornillo, Texas. This is a PRN position offering flexibility and competitive compensation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive urgent care services to patients of all ages, from infants to geriatrics.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries.
- Perform procedures such as laceration repair, incision and drainage, and splinting.
- Interpret and analyze diagnostic tests, including X-rays and EKGs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care.
Requirements:
- Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Emergency Nurse Practitioner, or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
- Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in urgent care or emergency medicine.
- Comfortable managing a high patient volume in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with a diverse patient population.
- Knowledge of workers' compensation and Department of Transportation regulations.
- Proficiency in electronic health records.
